What LinkedNav MCP tools cost
Using LinkedNav through Claude or any other MCP client is included in your plan. A few tools pull new data and cost LinkedNav credits. Reading data you already have is free. Every paid tool shows you the cost and waits for your OK before it charges anything.
Example: enrich 1,000 LinkedIn profiles and read their latest posts
You give your AI assistant 1,000 LinkedIn profile URLs and ask it to fill in each person’s profile and check what they’ve posted recently. Here’s what that costs.
| Step | Tool | Rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profile detailsLocation, current company, headline and seniority, experience, skills | enrich_profiles | 0.07 per profile found | ≤ 70 |
| Latest postsPost text, date, link, reactions, comments, reposts | get_recent_posts | Free | 0 |
| Read the resultsPull the enriched fields back into your chat | get_enriched_profiles | Free | 0 |
| Total | ≤ 70 | ||
| Optional: work emailOnly if you also want emails | enrich_linkedin_urls | 1 per email found | ≤ 1,000 |
- Usually less than 70
- We don’t charge for profiles we can’t find, and profiles already enriched are skipped for free.
- In dollars
- 70 credits is about $7 at the Starter Pack rate, or about $4.38 with the Enterprise Pack. See Credits & pricing.
- Profile details
- Runs in the background. Send up to 500 URLs per call, so 1,000 URLs take two calls. Results show up as each profile finishes, and one missed profile doesn’t hold up the rest.
- Latest posts
- One call per person, up to 20 posts each. There’s a limit of 80 calls per hour per account, so posts for 1,000 people take about 13 hours. Your assistant can work through the list in batches.
- Which plan covers it
- Pro includes 200 credits a month, which covers this job. Standard includes 50, so you’d top up about 20. Free accounts start with 20 welcome credits. You can buy more on the Credits page.
What about get_profile? It’s free and returns a profile card plus a few recent posts, but it reads through your own connected LinkedIn account. Use it to research a single prospect, not a list of 1,000.
How charging works
- Preview first
- Paid tools run in two steps. The first call returns the cost estimate and your balance, and charges nothing. The tool only runs once you confirm, and your assistant will ask you before it does.
- Pay for results
- Profile details, emails and phone numbers are charged only when found. People searches are charged per person actually returned.
- Known data is free
- Profiles that were already enriched and emails already on file come back free. If you ask to refresh them on purpose, you’re charged again.
- Never past your balance
- If you’re short, the tool runs as many as your balance covers. It then tells you how many are left and how many more credits they need.
- Same rate everywhere
- An action costs the same through MCP as in the LinkedNav dashboard. Costs are always shown in LinkedNav credits.

MCP vs. REST API
LinkedNav also has a REST API, which you call with an X-API-Key header. It’s priced per request, and some rates differ from MCP. For example, the REST endpoint for a profile’s posts costs 2 credits per request, while get_recent_posts through MCP is free. See the API documentation for REST pricing.
FAQ
Do I pay for profiles you can’t find?
No. Profile details, emails and phone numbers are charged only when we find them.
What if I run the same list twice?
Profiles already enriched are skipped at no charge, so the second run only costs credits for new profiles.
What happens if I run out of credits halfway?
We only start what your balance covers, and the tool tells you how many profiles are left and how many credits they need. Top up on the Credits page and run the list again. Finished profiles are skipped for free.
Can I see the cost before anything is charged?
Yes. Every paid tool returns an estimate first and charges nothing until you confirm.
Do I need to connect my LinkedIn account?
Not for searching, enrichment or get_recent_posts. Those run on LinkedNav’s own data. get_profile and outreach tools use your connected account.
Does MCP access cost extra?
No. MCP comes with every plan. You only spend credits on the paid tools listed on this page, at the same rates as the dashboard.
