2. Browser Extension

Our Chrome browser extension helps you import LinkedIn contacts and data into your LinkedNav account. When you use the extension:

• Data Collection: The extension only collects data when you explicitly click the import buttons. We collect contact information (names, job titles, company names, profile URLs, profile pictures) from LinkedIn pages you visit.
• Authentication: The extension stores your LinkedNav authentication token locally in your browser to sync data with your LinkedNav account. This token is encrypted and never shared with third parties.
• LinkedIn Cookies: The extension accesses LinkedIn cookies only to authenticate your requests to LinkedIn's servers for importing data. We do not collect or store your LinkedIn password.
• Local Storage: The extension uses browser local storage to save your authentication state and preferences on your device.
• Data Transmission: Imported data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our servers at api.linkednav.com and stored in your LinkedNav account.
• No Automatic Data Collection: The extension does not automatically collect or track your browsing activity. It only works when you manually trigger an import action.

The extension is free to use and requires a LinkedNav account. You can uninstall the extension at any time from your browser settings.
